Over the years I have bought (more like collected) makeup and various beauty products. Lets just say that I have stumbled upon my fair share of bad products. Either they didn't work well, made me break out, or just were simply wrong in every way.
1. Covergirl Eye Shadow Quad in Urban Basics- Im a sucker for nude eyeshadows, for some reason no matter how similar they are I just have to have them all. This is the exception. Its awful. The pigmentation is horrible and you literally have to apply five coats of this on your eyelid before the color even starts to show. By then you have caked so much eyeshadow on that its hard to blink.
2. Jordana FabuLiner- I have heard quite a few 'beauty gurus' rave about this inexpensive liner and how amazing it is so I thought I would try it. While it does go on smoothly it doesn't stay that way for long. Not even two hours after putting on this liner it started wearing down. One of my eyes had chunks of liner while the other eye had a perfect line. No matter what I do I cant seem to get this liner to last for more than one hour.
3. Beauty Rush(AKA Victoria Secret) Lipgloss- I don't know if I just had a bad lipgloss but these were awful. I got a pack of three for Christmas and they were by far the worst lipgloss' I have ever used. They were beyond sticky and had the worst taste ever.
4. Maybelline Colossal Mascara (Cat Eye)- I have to admit, I have fairly long eyelashes so it doesn't take much for a mascara to work for me. However this was truly a disappointment. It made my lashes clump together and didn't lengthen them at all.
5. Toms Deodorant- Possibly the worst deodorant ever. I think I am as sweaty as the next person but this was ridiculous. This deodorant did nothing whatsoever with sweating or with the scent. It has a more gel-type formula and I found myself having to reapply this throughout the day in order for it to work. Its not worth it.
6. Dove Dry Shampoo- If you like having a white/grey cast in your hair, then this is for you. However, with my dark hair it didn't go over so well. It did well at absorbing the excess oils but the grey color from the dry shampoo would not leave my hair. It looked like I was getting old grey hairs... (Gross)
